Bamford Strategies is excited to announce that our President, Tanya Bamford, has been appointed to the Montgomery County Workforce Development Board, known as MontcoWorks. This appointment reflects Tanya’s commitment to economic development, business growth, and community engagement in Montgomery County, PA.
MontcoWorks serves as Montgomery County’s workforce development board, dedicated to aligning employment, training, and education programs that drive economic growth and connect job seekers with meaningful career opportunities. Its programs are funded through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), with federal funds allocated to the state and distributed locally. As a board member, Tanya Bamford will leverage her expertise in strategic planning, marketing, and business development to help shape policies and initiatives that strengthen the region’s workforce and economy.

MontcoWorks plays a vital role in shaping the workforce landscape by fostering partnerships between businesses, education providers, and economic development organizations. The board also provides oversight for PA CareerLink Montgomery County, ensuring that job seekers have access to high-quality career services and training programs.
In addition to her role as President of Bamford Strategies, Tanya serves as a Supervisor for Montgomery Township and is actively involved in various community initiatives. She is a board member of the Montgomery County Community College Foundation, where she supports the college through the development of scholarship and educational programs that help students advance their careers. Tanya also serves on the board of the North Wales Area Library, contributing her time and talent toward providing the local community with education, literacy, and access to learning resources.
MontcoWorks holds quarterly board meetings and operates through various committees, including the Service Delivery & Operations Committee, Youth Committee, Local Management Committee, and the newly formed Business Services Advisory Committee--all of which focus on different aspects of workforce development and employment services.
